Fritz Nature Box – Indian Almond Leaves and Bark

Product details

Fritz Nature Box – Indian Almond Leaves and Bark (11117) is an aquarium botanical supply intended to be added to freshwater tanks to provide natural plant-derived tannins. Indian almond leaves and bark are commonly used to help create a more “blackwater” style environment, supporting natural-looking cover and conditions that many hobbyists associate with calmer, more natural behavior in a wide range of freshwater fish and invertebrate aquariums. Use it as part of your tank’s routine decor and water-conditioning approach rather than as a medication.

Features:

• Made for aquarium use as a natural botanical: Indian almond leaves and almond bark
• Tannins naturally released from plant material can color the water and create a blackwater look
• Botanical additions are often used to support a more natural, leaf-litter habitat feel in aquariums
• Plant botanicals may contribute to a cleaner, more natural environment by reducing the “shock” of switching from bare glass to a planted-style setup
• Helps you customize the look and feel of your tank over time as the botanicals break down
