Foods, salt, test kits and equipment don’t need overnight shipping, so they travel by ground. Here is how it works.
When dry goods ship
- Dry goods and supplies ship on any business day by ground service.
- Dry goods ship separately from live goods, from a different warehouse, so an order with both has a shipping charge for each.
Shipping costs
Shipping is priced at checkout for your address and shown before you pay. Orders over $350 ship free.
Damaged or wrong items
If a dry-goods item arrives damaged, or isn’t what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund you.
Returns
For any other return, contact us first to get an RA (return authorization) number — every return needs one, and returns must be made within 7 days of arrival. Unopened, unused dry goods can be returned with a 25% service fee; return shipping is at your expense and drop-shipped items can’t be returned. Full details are on our Dry Goods Returns page.
Fish, corals and invertebrates ship overnight and are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee instead: see Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee.
