These terms apply when you use our website or buy from Tropical Fish and Coral. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them along with our Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee and Privacy Policy.

Orders
After you order you will get an email confirming we received it. Live animals are only available in the numbers we have, so we may cancel an order, or part of one, and refund you in full if an item is no longer available, if a price or description was shown in error, or if we can’t ship live goods safely to your address.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any tax are shown at checkout before you pay, and the total at checkout is what you pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe; your order is placed once the payment is approved.
Shipping and delivery
How and when we ship is explained on our Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee page, which is part of these terms. Please give a complete, correct shipping address and make sure someone can receive live animals on the delivery day. We are not responsible for losses caused by an incorrect address, or by a package that is refused, unclaimed or left unopened. Carrier and weather delays are outside our control, but we will always work with you to put things right.
Live Arrival Guarantee
Live animals are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee exactly as described on the Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee page, including the time limit for sending a photo. Live animals cannot be returned.
Damaged or wrong dry goods, and returns
If a dry-goods item arrives damaged, or isn’t what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund you. For any other return, please contact us first: unopened, unused dry goods can usually be returned, and we will tell you how.
Our products
Every live animal is unique, so its size and colors may differ from the photo, especially for frags and common species shown with a representative photo. Care information on our website is general guidance. You are responsible for providing a suitable aquarium, for choosing animals that are compatible with yours, and for following any local laws about the species you keep.
Using our website
Please don’t misuse our website, for example by trying to break into it or by placing fraudulent orders. The text, photos and tutorials on this website belong to us or are used with permission; you may share links to them, but please don’t copy them for commercial use.
Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as the loss of other animals in your aquarium. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
