The LSM Lunar Simulator Module – Neptune Systems is a replacement module for Neptune Systems Apex reef aquarium controllers that adds a lunar lighting cycle to help mimic day/night conditions. It’s designed to work within an Apex setup so the system can produce a timed “lunar” effect during the lights-out period, while still keeping the aquarium viewable with a lower-intensity light output. Many reef fish and corals are known to respond to natural light cycles, and using a lunar simulation can help support more natural daily rhythms in the display. Note: the module is only the controller for the lunar effect—LED strings are sold separately and must be paired with the appropriate string type for your system.
