Liquid Gardens Cholla Wood 12″ (LG-005)

Product details

Liquid Gardens Cholla Wood 12" (LG-005) is aquarium décor made from the hollow, woody skeleton of the cholla cactus. You can place it in freshwater aquariums to add natural-looking structure, create more browsing surfaces, and provide hiding and foraging spots for small bottom-dwelling tank mates. It’s especially popular in communities that include plecos and/or shrimp, since many keepers notice them rasping on and using the wood over time.

Features:

• Hollow cholla cactus skeleton design offers textured surfaces for aquarium livestock to explore
• Helps create natural hideouts and foraging areas, which can reduce stress for shy tank mates
• Pleco-friendly texture: wood-eating plecos often rasp and graze on cholla wood
• Shrimp often use cholla wood for hiding and grazing/foraging behavior
• Each piece is distinct, with variations in coloring, knots, and curves
• Works as a simple way to add structure to aquascapes while supporting natural behaviors
