Chemi-Pure Blue is aquarium filter media for use in saltwater/reef aquariums (and it can be used in freshwater African Cichlid setups). It’s a blended carbon plus synthetic ion-exchange resin media designed to help reduce a range of dissolved contaminants and improve overall water quality while running in your filtration system.

Features:

• Uses a blend of high-grade, low-dust activated carbons combined with premium synthetic ion exchange resins.
• Helps reduce organic compounds, odors, phenols, toxins, and other dissolved impurities.
• Targets medication-related residues, including dissolved metals; it can remove copper from medication dosage.
• Helps reduce phosphates and silicates to support clearer water and stable conditions.
• Designed to increase ORP/redox potential and to help stabilize pH.
• Intended to be compatible with beneficial biological organisms in the aquarium’s filtration.
• Supports use in reef and saltwater systems; not recommended for standard freshwater aquariums.
