CaribSea Super Naturals Jungle River Sand 20lb (00835)

Product details

CaribSea Super Naturals Jungle River Sand 20lb (00835) is an aquarium sand/gravel substrate designed to help you create a natural-looking underwater setup inspired by blackwater rivers and jungle biotopes. It’s intended for use in aquariums where you want a stable base layer, so you can focus on adjusting water quality parameters to match your animals’ needs. As an inert substrate, it won’t be expected to affect pH or alkalinity, and it can be used in marine aquariums when pH and alkalinity are properly maintained.

Features:

• Natural-looking look: sizes and colors are selected to resemble environments such as Amazon River blackwaters or Asian jungles.
• Inert substrate: designed not to affect pH or alkalinity, giving you flexibility to manage those parameters.
• Supports long-term maintenance of water chemistry by not interfering with your chosen pH/alkalinity targets.
• Practical choice for building a realistic substrate bed in both freshwater-style and marine-style aquascapes (with proper water parameter management).
