CaribSea Branch Life Rock Dry Live Rock 20 lbs

Product details

CaribSea Branch Life Rock Dry Live Rock 20 lbs is a branch-style reef rock made from an aragonitic base rock (rather than typical cement). It’s designed for aquarium aquascaping and to help jump-start biological performance by being infused with spored bacteria. In practice, hobbyists use it as a core rock structure to create mature-looking reef aquascapes while adding the porous surfaces that support natural nitrifying bacteria over time.

Features:

• Aragonitic base rock designed to support beneficial biofiltration surfaces
• Infused with spored bacteria to aid biological performance in marine systems
• Micro and macro pores create a network of passageways within the rock
• Artificial coating and texture mimic natural coralline algae after time in the ocean
• Branch style pieces can be used to build open, natural-looking reef structures with patience
• Rock may be picked at by some animals; coating spots can be covered by live coralline algae over time
