Apex FMM Optical Level Sensor OS-1 With Magnetic Mount is a replacement optical level sensor for the Apex Fluid Monitoring Module (FMM). It detects a change from wet to dry (and back again) by using reflected infrared light, then signals your Apex controller when the sensor state changes. In an aquarium setup, this makes it useful for water-level monitoring and alerts, such as a high-level or low-level warning sensor in a sump or water storage area, or as part of a DIY auto-top-off (ATO) approach.
