Ultima II 4,000 Filter 1.5″ Inlet/Outlet – Aqua Uv

Product details

Ultima II 4,000 Filter 1.5" Inlet/Outlet – Aqua Uv is a biomechanical pond filtration unit designed to support aquatic life by addressing both dissolved waste and suspended debris. In practical terms, it uses biological filtration to help beneficial bacteria process ammonia, while its media helps trap solids so they can be managed during routine cleaning. This makes it a useful choice for aquaculture facilities, backyard ponds, and larger aquarium-style systems that need reliable filtration and maintenance-friendly backwashing.

Features:

• Biological filtration uses beneficial bacteria on the filter media to help convert ammonia into less harmful compounds
• Patented media provides a large biofilm surface area for bacterial growth
• Ridged media is designed to trap solids without clumping
• Internal jets help separate trapped waste from the media during backwash
• Backwash is performed simply by rotating the valve, sending waste out the waste line

Specifications:

• Pond capacity: Up to 4,000 gal pond
• Inlet/Outlet size: 1.5 in inlet/outlet
• Filter type: Ultima II biomechanical filter with patented ridged media and backwash valve
