Ultima II 30,000 Filter 3″ Side Mount Inlet/Outlet – Aqua Uv

Product details

Ultima II 30,000 Filter 3" Side Mount Inlet/Outlet – Aqua Uv is a high-capacity biomechanical filter designed to support water quality by removing debris and promoting biological filtration. In practical terms, it helps facilities, ponds, or large aquarium systems manage waste by providing a surface for beneficial bacteria. Those bacteria convert ammonia into less harmful compounds, while the filter media helps trap solids so they can be cleared during routine backwashing.

Features:

• Uses patented media to provide a high biofilm surface area for beneficial bacterial growth
• Supports the conversion of ammonia from fish waste into harmless compounds (general nitrification function)
• Ridged media helps trap solids without clumping
• Includes internal jets that run during backwash to separate captured waste from the media
• Backwash is performed by rotating the valve for waste line discharge
• Designed for large-volume systems, with a listed pond capacity rating up to 30,000 gallons
