Ultima II 20,000 Filter 2" Inlet/Outlet – Aqua Uv is a pond filtration system designed to support aquatic life by removing ammonia and accumulated debris. It combines mechanical trapping of solids with biological filtration (biomechanical filtration): beneficial bacteria grow on the filter’s patented media and help convert ammonia into harmless compounds. Practical for backyard ponds and larger setups where strong water quality and debris control are needed, it also supports routine maintenance through an internal backwash process that helps clear trapped waste from the media.
