Ultima II 2,000 Filter 1.5″Inlet/outlet – Aqua Uv

Product details

Ultima II 2,000 Filter 1.5"Inlet/outlet – Aqua Uv is a UV sterilizer-style pond filtration unit designed to help keep pond or aquarium water clearer by combining mechanical trapping of debris with biological filtration. In practical terms, it supports the breakdown of waste by providing a high-surface media bed for beneficial bacterial growth, while the backwash function helps separate trapped solids from the media so they can be flushed out. This makes it well-suited for systems where you want to reduce accumulated waste and support water quality for aquatic life.

Features:

• Uses patented ridged media intended to provide a large biofilm surface area for bacterial growth
• Supports nitrification by beneficial bacteria, converting ammonia into less harmful compounds
• Traps solids with ridged media designed to help reduce clumping within the filter bed
• Includes internal jets that activate during backwash to help separate waste from the media
• Backwash is performed by simply rotating the valve, sending separated waste out the waste line
• Rated for ponds up to 2,000 gallons (system capacity depends on overall setup and stocking)

Specifications:

• Inlet/Outlet size: 1.5 in
• Rated pond capacity: Up to 2,000 gal pond
