Turbo Start 700 Freshwater – Fritz

Product details

Turbo Start 700 Freshwater – Fritz is a Fritz water-care additive intended to help seed beneficial nitrifying bacteria in freshwater aquariums. In practical terms, it’s used when you’re establishing a new tank’s biological filtration (or restarting/refreshing filter media) so the aquarium can build the bacteria needed to process toxic nitrogen compounds during the start-up period. Because it’s marketed specifically for freshwater use, it’s intended for freshwater setups rather than marine systems.

Features:

• Helps introduce/establish beneficial nitrifying bacteria for biological filtration in freshwater aquariums
• Useful during new aquarium start-up when cycling the tank’s filter
• Supports the overall process of biological breakdown of ammonia and nitrite by establishing bacterial populations
• A convenient bottled additive form for adding to the tank during start-up or after filter media disruption
• Designed for freshwater aquarium systems (not saltwater use)
• Available in multiple bottle sizes to match the volume and timing of your tank set-up
