Tropic Marin NP Bacto Balance 1000ml

Product details

Tropic Marin NP Bacto Balance 1000ml (24405) is a reef-aquarium additive in the Salt & Additives category designed to help manage excess nutrients by supporting a more balanced relationship between carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus. In situations where a tank has elevated nitrate and/or phosphate but limited nutrient handling, it provides a complementary approach alongside carbon-based methods so that bacteria and other organisms can metabolize nutrients more effectively. Practically, it is intended for stabilizing nitrate and phosphate levels and supporting filter-feeding organisms and overall reef coloration and growth when nutrient ratios are off.

Features:

• Helps reduce nitrate and phosphate by supporting bacterial activity and nutrient metabolism
• Aims to maintain the balance between carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus rather than relying on carbon dosing alone
• Can help increase skimmer efficiency when nutrient processing improves
• Provides bacterial biomass as a nutrient source for filter feeders
• Helps avoid situations that can lead to nutrient deficiency during nutrient reduction
• Can be used in aquariums of all ages, including mature tanks needing revitalization
• Can be dosed manually or with a dosing pump
