Teal Dragon Chalice

About this coral

Teal Dragon Chalice is a chalice-style LPS coral sold under that shop name, prized in reef aquariums for the distinctive “chalice” form and the eye-like patterns many hobbyists associate with this group. It’s typically used as a centerpiece coral on live rock where its fleshy surface can be viewed closely, adding depth and visual interest to mixed reef displays.

Features:

• LPS coral with a chalice-like growth form that’s known for eye-catching detail and coloration
• Helps create natural-looking structure on live rock, especially when placed where the polyps can be seen clearly
• Generally compatible with peaceful reef communities, making it suitable for mixed aquariums
• Benefits from stable water conditions and consistent feeding for best color and fleshy expansion
• Often performs best under moderate lighting and moderate water movement to support photosynthesis and tissue health
• Like many corals, it should be given space from aggressive neighbors to reduce competition and incidental contact
