Tangerine Breeze Acan Lord

About this coral

The “Tangerine Breeze Acan Lord” is an LPS (large polyp stony) coral commonly sold under the “acan” trade name. In an aquarium, it’s prized for its fleshy, textured polyps and for the hands-on satisfaction of feeding an LPS coral. Practically, this coral is a good choice if you want a reef centerpiece that benefits from moderate lighting and regular feeding rather than only relying on light-driven photosynthesis.

Features:

• LPS coral style with visible, fleshy polyps that respond well to routine care
• Generally recommended for moderate light compared with very high-light corals
• Benefits from feeding to support growth and overall health (LPS are typically polyp-feeders)
• Often works best with gentle, not blasting, water movement around the coral
• A useful “feeding aquarium” coral for aquarists who enjoy targeted feeding
• Suitable for aquascapes where you can place it where it receives consistent light without being exposed to extreme current

Specifications:

• Coral type: LPS coral (acan trade name)
• Lighting guidance: Moderate light (general LPS guidance)
• Feeding guidance: Requires feeding; typically benefits from regular polyp-targeted foods
• Water flow guidance: Gentle/moderate flow to avoid polyp retraction from excessive current
