SunSun 5 Stage Canister with UV 9W, 525gph

Product details

The SunSun 5 Stage Canister with UV 9W, 525gph is an external aquarium canister filter designed to help keep aquarium water cleaner by combining multi-stage filtration with a built-in UV sterilizer. Using an inlet tube to draw water from the tank and an outlet tube to return it, the filter is useful for improving overall water clarity and reducing the burden of free-floating microorganisms as water passes through the UV unit.

Features:

• External canister design helps free up in-tank space.
• Multi-stage filtration for mechanical, biological, and chemical-style filtration using layered filter media baskets.
• Built-in UV sterilizer exposes passing water to ultraviolet light to help damage or eliminate many microorganisms.
• UV is sealed inside a quartz glass sleeve to allow UV to pass into the water.
• Outlet tube includes a spray-bar to increase oxygen/aeration as water returns to the tank.
• Includes a drip-free shut-off tap to remove the filter for maintenance without excessive mess.
• Media baskets lift out smoothly for easy rinsing and reassembly.
