Seachem Tidal Filter 55Gal

Product details

Seachem Tidal Filter 55Gal (6500) is a Tidal™ power filter designed to provide high-quality, comprehensive filtration for freshwater or marine aquariums. It uses a self-priming pump and a removable filter basket that holds your choice of filtration media, helping keep water clean while staying easy to maintain. Practical benefits include surface debris removal, adjustable intake and flow for different aquarium setups, and a maintenance monitor to signal when media may need cleaning.

Features:

• Self-priming pump helps eliminate the need to fill the basket with water or manage a siphon; it can automatically restart after a power outage
• Dual water intake with a surface skimmer pulls water from both near the surface (to capture oils and floating debris) and below the surface via a telescoping intake pipe
• Adjustable flow and intake-flow dials let you tune filtration movement to your tank’s needs
• Maintenance alert redirects water if media clogs, pushing an indicator up to show it’s time to clean
• Fully removable, snap-in filter basket allows no-mess transport to rinse/clean
• Bottom-to-top flow pushes water up through the media for more complete contact with filter media
• Self-cleaning impeller is corrosion-proof and suited for both saltwater and freshwater
• Includes Seachem’s Matrix™ bio-media to get you started
