Seachem Prime 4L (439) is a water conditioner for aquarium use in both freshwater and saltwater. It is designed to detoxify common water-treatment issues by removing chlorine and chloramine from tap water and by binding harmful nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and nitrite (and also nitrate), helping make newly added or replaced water safer for fish and invertebrates. Prime is also commonly used during cycling to reduce toxicity of ammonia/nitrite while beneficial biofiltration establishes.
