Seachem Prime 2L

Product details

Seachem Prime 2L (438) is a water conditioner designed for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is used during routine water changes and top-offs to treat newly added water, helping make it safer for fish by addressing common tap-water chlorination and by reducing the immediate toxicity of nitrogen compounds in the tank. Prime is also commonly used to support safe handling situations—such as during tank start-up or periods when ammonia and nitrite may be present—so aquatic life is less exposed to harmful forms of these compounds.

Features:

• Conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums
• Removes chlorine and chloramine from water
• Detoxifies ammonia and nitrite, helping reduce harmful effects on fish
• Also helps detoxify nitrate when present in the aquarium
• Can be used during tank cycling when ammonia/nitrite conditions may occur
• Supports the natural slime coat rather than relying on non-native additives
