Seachem Flourish Excel 500mL

Product details

Seachem Flourish Excel 500mL (453) is a bioavailable organic carbon supplement designed for planted aquariums. Plants need carbon to build the compounds they use for growth, and this product provides an organic-carbon source that can support photosynthesis without relying solely on CO2 injection. It may be used as an alternative to CO2 in some setups or alongside CO2. Because it is used to produce photosynthetic intermediates, it can be particularly useful when increasing CO2 could risk pushing pH too low.

Features:

• Provides a bioavailable organic carbon source for the planted aquarium
• Can be used as an alternative to CO2 injection or used in addition to CO2
• Introduces photosynthetic intermediates (structurally similar compounds that help plants continue the photosynthesis process)
• May help support plant growth even where CO2 adjustments are limited
• Includes iron-reducing properties that promote iron availability in the ferrous (Fe+2) form
• Designed to work alongside CO2 because intermediate production and carbon building processes occur simultaneously
