Seachem Dry Discus Buffer 250g (266) is a freshwater aquarium additive designed to help create and maintain a Discus-style water profile with low pH and low general hardness (GH). It is used during water changes to lower pH and help keep it lowered, and it also helps soften water by reducing calcium and magnesium levels through precipitation. In practice, it’s commonly paired with Seachem Neutral Regulator® to reach and fine-tune a specific target pH using RO (reverse osmosis) water or other water sources.
