Seachem Aquavitro Shrimp Stars 5pcs (7082) are enrichment accessories designed to provide small shrimp and other aquarium invertebrates with places to hide. Shrimp naturally seek seclusion to reduce stress and avoid predation, and they often need extra protection around vulnerable periods such as molting. In aquariums, these shrimp-focused refuges can also support the development of fine algae and/or bio-film that many small shrimp can graze on.
Features:
- Creates refuge areas where small shrimp can hide to ease stress and help avoid predation
- Helps provide protection for shrimp during and after molting
- Offers seclusion for shrimp when females carry eggs and may seek darker, safer areas
- Provides additional surface area where fine algae and/or bio-film can develop as a natural food source
- Designed as an Aquavitro shrimp enrichment accessory for use in community or species tanks with small shrimp
