Seachem Alkaline Buffer 70g (234) is a non-phosphate buffering additive designed to raise pH and increase alkalinity (KH) in freshwater aquariums. It helps stabilize water chemistry in systems where you want to buffer toward an alkaline range, supporting conditions commonly used in planted aquariums and in tanks with very hard water. This buffer works as part of Seachem’s buffer system with Acid Buffer™ to help manage pH swings while maintaining an appropriate carbonate/bicarbonate balance.
