Seachem Alkaline Buffer 600g (233) is a non-phosphate pH and alkalinity (KH) buffer designed to help stabilize and raise pH and alkalinity in aquarium water. It is intended for planted aquariums or for very hard water situations where phosphate-based buffers may contribute to algae growth or cloudiness. In use, it buffers the water at a target pH range of about 7.2 to 8.5, supporting a more stable freshwater environment.
