Saltwater Waste-Away Sludge Busting Bacteria – Dr. Tim's Aquatics is a bacterial additive made to help dissolve sludge and “hidden” waste that can accumulate in hard-to-reach areas of saltwater aquariums. Even with regular water changes, debris can build up in places like sand beds, rocks, and filter media. Used on a routine schedule, Waste-Away introduces natural bacteria that break down trapped waste so it can be removed during water changes, supporting a cleaner system and more effective skimmer performance. It’s also intended to help increase ORP and reduce buildup that can contribute to nuisance problems such as slime algae and cyanobacteria.

• Dosing schedule: Once per week
• How much to dose: 10 mL per 10 gallons of aquarium water, added to a high-flow area
• UV light and skimmer handling after dosing: Turn off UV lights and protein skimmers for 48 hours after dosing
• Important precautions: Do not overdo or overdose; in heavily sludged tanks, consider a half-dose initially. Do not add more than one bacterial-based solution per day.
