Reptizoo Compressed Coco Chips 500g (SB651)

Product details

Reptizoo Compressed Coco Chips 500g (SB651) is a dry, natural coconut-based substrate supplied in a compressed form for terrarium setups. Once prepared for use, it provides a textured bedding layer that supports natural digging and burrowing behaviors in many ground-dwelling reptiles and invertebrates. Coco chips are also used to help manage habitat moisture and to help with collecting waste, making it a practical choice when you want a more naturalistic substrate bed for animals that forage or tunnel in their enclosure.

Features:

• Made from natural coconut material for use as terrarium bedding
• Compressed format can be convenient for storage and handling before use
• Helps preserve moisture in the habitat to support a more humid environment
• Textured chips can encourage natural digging and burrowing behaviors
• Designed to help collect excreta within the substrate for easier maintenance
• Suitable for setting up habitats for animals such as tortoises, tarantulas/spiders, hermit crabs, snakes, and scorpions, depending on your enclosure needs
