Reef Waste-Away Sludge Busting Bacteria – Dr. Tim's Aquatics is a bacterial additive designed to help dissolve sludge and hidden organic waste in marine aquariums. Even with regular water changes, waste can accumulate in hard-to-reach areas such as sand beds, rocks, and filter media. By adding Waste-Away weekly, you support ongoing breakdown of that waste so it can be removed more effectively during maintenance, helping improve overall water stability.

Specifications:

• Product type: 100% natural bacterial additive (sludge-busting bacteria)
• Dosing (general): 10 mL per 10 gallons of aquarium water, once per week (shake before dosing)
• UV/protein skimmer guidance after dosing: Turn off UV lights and protein skimmers for 48 hours after dosing
• Temporary tank response: Dirty tanks may develop temporary cloudiness; do not add more until it clears
• Caution for heavy sludge: If the tank has a large amount of sludge, consider a half-dose initially due to possible temporary oxygen drop
• Bottle sizes / treatable volume: 4 oz: treats up to 120 gallons; 8 oz: up to 240 gallons; 16 oz: up to 480 gallons; 32 oz: up to 960 gallons; 64 oz: up to 1,920 gallons; 128 oz: up to 3,840 gallons
