Product details
Reef Nutrition Oyster-Feast Oyster Eggs and Ovarian Tissue 6oz is a coral and invertebrate food made from oyster eggs and ovarian tissue. It’s formulated as a naturally size-appropriate feed to support feeding across a range of aquarium corals and other reef invertebrates, using very small particles that corals can capture during feeding. In practice, Oyster-Feast is useful when you want to encourage a strong feeding response from filter-feeding animals and supplement their diet with protein and omega-3 fatty acids. You can also use it as part of a multi-food feeding routine by adding Oyster-Feast first and allowing time for polyps to open before offering additional foods.
Features:
- Contains oyster eggs and ovarian tissue for a mix of particle sizes suitable for reef feeding
- Naturally sized for feeding small-polyp corals (SPS) and larger-polyp corals (LPS), and for other invertebrates
- Designed to elicit a strong feeding response from corals and other tank inhabitants
- Ovarian tissue includes benefits associated with egg nutrition, presented in a wider range of microscopic sizes
- High in protein and omega-3 fatty acids to support a nutrient-rich feed
- Stays in suspension for easier delivery to feeding animals
- Suitable for small crustaceans like mysids, amphipods, and copepods to feed on
- Color variations are normal for this product
