Pond NovAqua Instant Water Conditioner – Kordon is Kordon’s instant tap-water dechlorinator and conditioner for freshwater and marine aquariums/ponds. It’s used to help make newly added tap water safer for aquatic animals and to provide a protective colloid “slime” coating for fish when natural slime has been removed by injury, disease, or rough handling.

Features:

• Instantly helps detoxify chlorine (free and combined) and disassembles chloramines (when present), supporting safer water during water changes and adding new water.
• Replaces lost protective slime with a rapidly forming synthetic colloid coating that supports a “bandaging effect” to help protect damaged areas.
• Helps support fish during stress by supplying electrolytes and buffering action that’s designed to assist adaptation to new environments and help prevent pH shock.
• Helps detoxify heavy metals, including removal of free copper ions from solution.
• Contains components intended to remove heavy-metal binding targets (listed as edetates for heavy metals removal) and uses an amine-free formula.
