Montmorillonite Clay, 25 lbs – Microbe-Lift is a calcium montmorillonite clay product designed for pond use. It’s a mineral-based clay that can be added to pond water to support fish health through mineral ingestion and to help “polish” the water by encouraging clarification. Because it is a clay with a negative electric charge, it can bind positively charged compounds in the water and help them clump together so they can be removed by filtration.
