The Model DA – Accel Aquatics Jet Flow Accelerator is a water flow accelerator (also known as a penductor) designed to increase and better direct circulation in an aquarium. By adding targeted jet-style flow, it can help reduce dead spots where water can become stagnant, support more even water movement, and limit detritus buildup in areas that don’t get much turnover. In practical use, this unit installs by screwing into the aquarium water return line, and it can also be adapted to work with many compatible water pumps or powerheads, depending on your plumbing and fittings. A flexible ball socket joint lets you aim the flow where it’s most useful, such as toward open swimming areas or to improve turnover behind rockwork.
