ME Coral Magnesium Powder is a salt & additive magnesium (Mg) supplement designed to help maintain stable magnesium levels in marine aquariums. It comes as a powder that is pre-measured to make a half gallon liquid solution when mixed with RODI water, making it practical for consistent dosing. Magnesium is important because it helps calcium (Ca) and alkalinity (KH) interact properly; when magnesium is low, Ca and KH can become harder to maintain and may precipitate out, leading to a need to increase Ca and KH. Use it alongside your magnesium testing routine and, for best results, with ME Coral Calcium and Alkalinity products.

Specifications:

• Target magnesium (Mg) range: 1280–1380 ppm
• Suggested dosing guide (example): To raise Mg by 10 ppm (from 1280 to 1290) in 100 gallons of seawater: add 80 mL (2.7 fl oz)
• Mixing volume: Half gallon liquid solution with RODI water
• Mixing order note: Add RODI water to a jug first, then add magnesium chloride, shake, then magnesium sulfate, shake
• Clumping tip: If clumping occurs, heat the outside of the jug with hot water to help dissolve
• Solution readiness: Solution should be crystal clear and at room temperature before use
