About this coral
About this coral
Indo Bi is an LPS coral sold under the shop name “Indo Bi.” Based on the shop’s existing description, it is an Euphyllia-type coral. In practice, Euphyllia corals are prized for their fleshy tentacles and for being kept as centerpiece LPS that respond well to steady, moderate reef lighting and water movement.
Features:
- Euphyllia-type growth is best supported by moderate lighting, avoiding harsh, high-intensity direct illumination.
- Provide medium, indirect flow so tentacles can extend without being blasted or constantly swaying.
- Place it on the lower to mid tank rockwork where it has room to expand while staying clear of more aggressive neighbors.
- Like many LPS, it benefits from stable water chemistry so the coral can maintain healthy tissue and feeding behavior.
- Keep compatible with other corals and avoid contact from stinging corals; Euphyllia can be sensitive to chemical/physical competition.
- Observe feeding response—Euphyllia-type corals commonly take particulate foods that are offered to the tentacles.
