Hikari Mini Algae Wafers 3oz

Product details

Hikari Mini Algae Wafers 3oz (21416) are small, sinking disc-shaped fish foods made by Hikari for algae-eating bottom feeders—especially plecostomus. Use them as a convenient, practical feeding option when your herbivorous fish need an algae- and plant-leaning diet that reaches the bottom where they feed.

Features:

• Sinking mini disc format helps deliver food to bottom feeders
• Disc shape is designed to be instinctively accepted by plecos and other algae-eaters
• Formulated with higher vegetable matter that herbivorous bottom feeders prefer, including spirulina and chlorella algae
• Nutrient-focused formula intended to support overall health (as a general diet goal)
• Designed to remain intact for an extended period to support nocturnal feeding
• Made to dissolve less rapidly than some competing wafers
• When used as directed, the disc is described as helping prevent aquarium water clouding
