Hikari Mini Algae Wafers 2.2lb

Product details

Hikari Mini Algae Wafers 2.2lb (21466) is a sinking, disc-shaped fish food from Hikari’s Mini Algae Wafers line. It’s intended for herbivorous, algae-eating bottom feeders—commonly including plecostomus (plecos)—and other fish that graze or feed at the tank bottom. Use it as a convenient dietary option during regular aquarium feedings to help provide an algae-leaning food format that reaches the substrate area where these fish feed.

Features:

• Sinking wafer design helps food reach bottom-feeding fish
• Mini-sized, disc-shaped pieces are convenient for herbivorous algae-eaters
• Suitable for plecostomus and other bottom-dwelling fish that prefer algae-based foods
• A practical food choice for feeding routines focused on substrate/grazing feeders
• Store-bought wafer food format can be easier to portion than loose foods
• Designed to be an aquarium-ready daily/regular diet component for compatible herbivorous species
