Hikari Mini Algae Wafers 0.77oz

Product details

Hikari Mini Algae Wafers 0.77oz (21403) are sinking algae-based wafers made for herbivorous bottom feeders, including plecostomus (plecos) and other algae-eating fish. Their disc shape is designed to sit on the bottom where bottom feeders forage, making them a practical staple food when you want a reliable algae-wafers option rather than free-floating foods.

Features:

• Sinking wafer format helps food reach and stay where bottom feeders feed
• Sized as a “mini” wafer to better suit fish that take smaller bites
• Made for algae-eating, herbivorous diets, supporting normal foraging behavior
• Designed as a dense disc so it can be eaten at the bottom during feeding times
• Convenient, easy-to-serve option for daily or periodic feeding of plecos and similar tank dwellers
• Often used as a primary or supplemental diet alongside other herbivore-appropriate foods
