Hikari Algae Wafers 8.8oz

Product details

Hikari Algae Wafers 8.8oz (21328) are aquarium food in the form of algae wafer discs designed for herbivorous, bottom-feeding fish. In practice, they provide a convenient feeding option for plecostomus and other algae-eating species that often prefer foods that can be offered at the tank floor and eaten from the surface or near the substrate. Because it’s a prepared wafer, it’s also useful when you want to supplement or vary an algae-based diet with a consistent, nutrient-focused feed.

Features:

• Disc-shaped wafers are designed to encourage feeding behavior in bottom-dwelling algae eaters
• Formulated to include high vegetable matter that algae-eating fish typically favor
• Includes stabilized vitamin C, which can help support general immune health in aquarium diets
• Designed with a texture that helps the wafer hold together instead of breaking down instantly
• Suitable as a food option for certain saltwater algae grazers as well as freshwater bottom feeders
