Hikari Algae Wafers 2.2lb

Product details

Hikari Algae Wafers 2.2lb (21366) are disc-shaped algae wafers designed to provide a vegetable-based food for herbivorous algae-eating bottom feeders. They’re commonly used as a practical option when plecostomus and other algae grazers need a dependable diet that stays available at feeding time, including in mixed freshwater setups and saltwater community tanks with algae-eating fish such as tangs, foxface, and rabbitfish.

Features:

• Made specifically to target hard-to-feed algae-eating bottom feeders such as plecostomus
• High levels of vegetable matter that algae-eaters prefer
• Includes stabilized vitamin C to help support immune system health
• Raised disc shape is designed to mimic natural pleco feeding action
• Texture is formulated to resist dissolving quickly, helping reduce wasted food during feeding
• Can be used in both freshwater and saltwater systems for appropriate herbivorous, algae-eating fish
