Hikari Algae Wafers 1.41oz

Product details

Hikari Algae Wafers 1.41oz (21307) are algae-based food wafers made for herbivorous, bottom-feeding fish that graze. They’re designed to stay useful at the tank bottom while encouraging natural “disc” feeding behavior, making them a practical staple for species such as plecostomus and other algae eaters. Use the wafers as a supplemental or primary feeding option for fish that prefer vegetable matter and grazing-style meals in both freshwater and saltwater setups.

Features:

• Developed to help with feeding hard-to-feed plecostomus and other algae eating bottom feeders
• Made with high levels of vegetable matter that algae-eating fish commonly prefer
• Includes stabilized vitamin C, intended to support immune system health
• Unique raised disc shape helps duplicate plecos natural feeding action
• Texture is designed not to dissolve readily, helping it remain available at the bottom
• Also suited for saltwater fish that eat algae, such as tangs, foxface and rabbitfish
