Floating Kaldness K1 Small Moving Bed Media 1Cubic (PE02) is a piece of floating moving-bed filter media designed for biological filtration in aquarium systems. Used in aerated filter chambers (such as a moving bed), the media provides a large surface for beneficial aerobic bacteria to grow, helping convert dissolved waste into less harmful forms. As the media moves and is kept oxygenated, waste contact with the biofilm is improved compared with low-flow media types.
