Emergency Backup & Portable Air Pump

Product details

Emergency Backup & Portable Air Pump is a Hydra Aquatics HydraResQ emergency backup and portable air pump designed to keep aquarium air and oxygen flow going during power outages. It switches to battery operation when the power fails, making it useful for short-term emergency aeration, transporting fish, or running a temporary air source in a bait bucket. It uses an airstone with airline tubing to diffuse air into water.

Features:

• Automatically switches to battery operation during power outages
• Provides oxygen and aeration during emergencies
• Single outlet for running one airline/airstone
• Requires 2 “D” batteries for backup operation
• Useful for transporting fish or aerating bait buckets

• For best performance, keep the pump above the water level (or use a check valve) to help prevent backflow
• Periodically check and replace airline tubing and airstones to help maintain performance
