Eliminate – Aqua Meds (potassium permanganate treatment) is a broad-spectrum water treatment used in aquariums/ponds to help control common external problems on fish. It is commonly used as an anti-parasite and anti-fungus treatment, and may also help with certain bacterial concerns such as bacterial gill disease and skin ulcers. In practical use, it’s typically applied after preparing the system and is followed by a normal water-quality step such as a water change to remove residual medication.
