CONTINUUM reef basis Magnesium 500ml

Product details

CONTINUUM reef basis Magnesium 500ml is a marine aquarium magnesium supplement designed to help hobbyists maintain magnesium levels for stable reef conditions. Magnesium is important for the overall balance commonly managed alongside calcium and buffer in reef aquariums. This product is intended for use when aquarium magnesium is low, including situations where certain salt mixes may test low in magnesium. As general guidance, reef keepers often aim for a magnesium range of about 1,250–1,350 mg/L (ppm), and some users may temporarily raise magnesium higher for special uses while monitoring animal health.

Features:

• Supports magnesium stability, which is commonly managed alongside calcium and alkalinity/buffer for reef aquariums
• Useful when magnesium is depleted or when a sea salt mix tests low in magnesium
• Can be used to raise magnesium toward normal reef keeping levels (general guidance: 1,250–1,350 mg/L / ppm)
• Suitable for hobbyists who choose to raise magnesium further (general guidance: 1,500–1,800 mg/L / ppm) with close monitoring
• When making larger adjustments, discontinue use and allow magnesium to come back down if corals show negative signs (e.g., refusing to open or poor coloration)
