ChaetoGro 500ml Refugium Fertilizer for Chaetomorpha Algae – Brightwell Aquatics

Product details

ChaetoGro 500ml Refugium Fertilizer for Chaetomorpha Algae – Brightwell Aquatics is a refugium fertilizer designed for marine aquarium setups that use Chaetomorpha algae (often grown in a sump refugium). Its practical use is to help support water chemistry for long-term Chaetomorpha health and growth, so the algae can more efficiently help manage nuisance nutrients in the system. The product is formulated as a multi-nutrient additive intended to complement algae nutrient requirements while supporting nutrient control goals in common marine and ULNS (ultra-low nutrient system) approaches.

Features:

• Designed for refugium growth of Chaetomorpha algae in marine aquariums and ULNS systems
• Phosphate and nitrate free, helping avoid adding these nutrients to the aquarium
• Provides a blend of multiple trace elements (reported as 13 elements) to support long-term plant/algae health, growth, and coloration
• Supports chaetomorpha nutrient uptake to assist with control of unwanted nutrients such as phosphate and nitrate
• Included elements include iron, cobalt, and molybdenum (among others), aligned with algae nutrient needs
• Suitable for shrimp and invertebrates, supporting use in mixed reef systems
