Brightwell Aquatics Xport BIO Grooved Blocks Media – 1.5" (8pack) are ultra-porous ceramic block media designed for biological filtration. They provide large aerobic and anaerobic surface area for beneficial bacteria, supporting efficient processing of aquarium waste. Use them in marine and hard freshwater systems where the water is maintained at pH 7.5 or higher. These grooved blocks can be used as the primary filtration medium or added alongside other filter media to increase biofiltration capacity.
