Product details

Blue Life USA Safety Stop Instant Fish Quarantine is a two-part fish bath designed to help protect saltwater and freshwater aquariums from serious disease outbreaks linked to external parasites and bacterial or fungal infections. It’s intended to reduce the risk that new fish—often the source of infectious disease—introduce problems into an established tank. While extended quarantine in a separate hospital tank is always recommended when practical, this product offers a practical alternative step you can use before placing a new fish into your main aquarium or into your quarantine system. It can also be used when transferring fish between tanks. Follow the dip protocol carefully, watch the fish for stress during treatment, and do not add the bath water to your aquarium.

Features:

  • Helps lower the risk of introducing unwanted disease by using a bath treatment for new or transferred fish
  • Two-part protocol (PART A, then PART B) for treatment under the manufacturer’s timing guidelines
  • Designed for ornamental fish only, including saltwater and freshwater varieties
  • Includes guidance to oxygenate the bath with air stones and monitor the fish closely for stress
  • Aims to increase oxygen in a new fish’s bloodstream to help minimize stress and support the immune system
  • Recommended as a proactive step when full quarantine isn’t practical, such as right before adding fish to a display or quarantine tank

Specifications:

  • Intended use: Ornamental fish only (not for invertebrates)
  • Aquarium types: Saltwater and freshwater fish
  • Container type: Clean, non-metallic containers (e.g., plastic or glass bucket)
  • Water volume per bath: 1 gallon of aquarium water for each container/bath
  • Bath parts: PART A in one container and PART B in a second container

  • Treatment time in PART B: 45 minutes
  • Stress handling: If signs of stress occur, shorten treatment and move the fish immediately to PART B (or to quarantine/prepared aquarium if needed)
  • After treatment: Do not add dip bath water to the aquarium; net fish into the aquarium
  • Bath water: Discard after several hours (can be used for multiple fish within a few hours at the same time)
