API E.M. ERYTHROMYCIN™ (10 pack, 30oz ) is a fish remedy designed to help treat and control bacterial diseases in aquarium fish. It uses an erythromycin-based approach and is intended for use in both freshwater and saltwater systems. In practice, this product is commonly used when fish show signs associated with bacterial infections such as body slime, mouth fungus, Furunculosis (open lesions and swelling), bacterial gill disease, and hemorrhagic septicemia (blood spots without sign of skin damage). It may also be used alongside API Ich, fungus, or parasite remedies as directed to help prevent secondary bacterial infection. This remedy will not color the aquarium water.
