Air Diffuser Dual Base w/ 4 x 12in Discs (MDB24-12) Matala is a pond aeration air diffuser system built for lake- or pond-style bottoms, especially where the substrate can be muddy. It uses four 12-inch Matala membrane disc diffusers mounted to a double hollow base with a 6-inch tee riser pipe to help keep the diffuser discs up and out of the mud for more consistent aeration. Practically, it’s designed to improve oxygen exchange in the water column and support healthy pond conditions by distributing airflow through multiple membrane discs.
